FISHERS ARE REAL 

    For my project I decided to make a fish. He’s pretty cool!!! Some flaws I made were because the layers were too close together which is funny because I thought they were too far apart. After all this class is about experimentation. If I was to do this again I would space out the layers and make it bigger. If it was bigger the lines and spaces would show up more. Note for next time separate the layers. From the pictures you can tell how small of a scale the lil fishers are.

      The final renders of my super awesome dog!!!     A few notes that I have to add about Keyshot. Since it's a new software I really struggled figuring it out. It probably took 2 1/2 hours of messing around with different settings to figure out what the heck I needed to do to even begin to figure out how to use it. I can tell how powerful the program is but I literally don't have the mental energy to be able to figure out all the ins and outs of keyshot. Usually I don't struggle figuring out a new software but this time was quite a bit different and I was surprised. Only thing I couldn't figure out is how to do custom lighting. It made no sense when I tried. So I'm hoping he goes over it in class so I can be more proficient at using keyshot.

Castle Assignment

Castle Assignment     WELCOME BACK!!! It's been a hot minute but excited to be back and to create some awesome things.  I really didn't have anything that inspired me to build my castle. It was more as I worked I came up with new ideas to add to the project. An example was the fountain. Without it the castle looks very bare and empty. I struggled with getting ideas for the castle. I saw so many really good reference pictures but didn't use any of them because I couldn't figure out how to recreate them. So I went for a more simply approach but I really enjoyed working on this. It was very fun and the trees glow in the dark. I wish I would have been able to create a better window with a glass pane but the frame was pretty good.
