Chicken 1 (Did the chicken or egg come first?)
Did the Chicken or the Egg come first?
fat chicken plushy named Chicken Little. I was determined to make it work, and I did. However upon further research I realized that someone had already made a 3d printable clock very similar to my design. Of course the models were different sizes and shapes but I was a bit upset that someone had the same idea. So I went back to the drawing board.
Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you Robert Robby Robbie:
Render Version:
He was really big and when I made him small he was too annoying to work around. In order to put a
clock part it would be quiet weird cause of the stomach being so round. It would cause a lot of excess filament to be used when I really didn't need all that waste. As a started model he served his purpose
and I love him.
module and I deleted the body by accident. Immediately I knew he was perfect!!!!
Leading me to a rabbit hole of an army of chickens in my Rhino file. As shown below:
to a pretty specific design. Big head and big eyes and generally bigger body.

3D Printing Model
3d printing went super well and pretty easy. Here are a few pictures I took of the process:

What worked well in your design
My overall model worked very well and the build is great. What challenges you encountered during fabrication or assembly
Challenges I encountered was only for assembly some of the fits were very tight. The left wing was slightly bigger than the right. The right wings fits in so perfect but the left I had to really twist and push it in to the hole. The feet to put in where such a strange angle but once I go them in perfect fit. Everything else was perfect. What you might change if you were to produce another iteration of the clock If I was to change anything the only thing I would change is maybe mayyybeee where the supports are add them tot he actual design. He looked like a sad chicken and he was kinda cute. That would be the only thing. I was thinking of maybe adding more allowance for the limbs to fit in but if I did maybe they wouldn't fit at all and constantly fall out.
