      Currently working on modeling the legs and body. This week I will be working on the head and hopefully I will have most of the modeling down my this week. Here are a few screenshots of my model so far. Leg definitely needs some work. Prototype 1 you could say. 

Final for the pattern project. Used cherry wood cause I really liked the colour. Funny thing was after I got it cut one of my friends really liked the smell and she kept smelling it. However I didn't see why she liked it. Way too strong for me and I didn't like it.   

 Trip Down Memory Lane     While I was looking through things I could make a replica of in rhino, I stumbled upon some things that gave me nostalgia. Oh man stick bots where the bomb when my brother and I were younger. We would make so many movies and loved to play with them. They had a whole collection of pets to collect. We had pretty much all the pets apart from the cow, chicken, rabbit, rhino and hippo.  Really good memories. We also made similar memories with the Legos.       The rubik's cube is my speed cube. My dad promised me after I could solve the cube in 50 seconds he'd buy me my very own speed cube. It's funny because I made 50 seconds with a really trashy cube. So now with my speed cube I get about 1 minute and 30 seconds because I'm out of practice and learning new algorithms.  Use to have speed challenges with people in my class and one of my really close friend who is like a brother to me. CUPS AND JUGS WHAAAAAA            Did a model of a mug and a jug. I'll admit the jug is, in my eyes pretty cool. The cup is a bit basic but that's oaky. Nothing was really coming to me with ideas for the cup. The jug spout really caused me problems. It took me 3 tries until I could get it right but I think my little elephant is really cute.

 Applying my design to a surface This weeks assignment was to take the design I made last week and apply it to objects in Rhino 8. I ran into a slight issue was that my original design was not symmetrical. So I struggled to apply it to the surface the way I was told too. In the end I took a screenshot of the pattern repeated and added it as a texture into rhino but it has some weird seems in it. 

Repeating Pattern     I took inspiration from downtown for my research. Made a lot of good memories with my dad who came with me. We had so much fun wondering around looking for interesting surface designs for me to take pictures of. I think my specific design took more inspiration from the Bow tower and the c-train indicator.      During the time I had for peer feedback I really enjoyed talking to my peers about our projects. Everyone had very different approaches to their ideas and had some very fun inspiration pictures to go with them. My original design reminded me of this one wallpaper in the sims and that quickly became a topic of conversation among all my chats. Really helped me figure out what direction I wanted to go and how I could go about doing that in Rhino. Made some really good connections with people I otherwise wouldn't have talked to.  I have in total 4 drafts. I have to admit I really wasn't sure of what I wanted to do but as I start...
