Putting the C in ConeBRO

Image
Putting the C in Cone Bro     Was having a hard time thinking of what I wanted to do. After looking through my sketchbook I found this sketch. I admit it's definitely not the best quality. However the cone is fun.  Surprisingly it was super easy to transfer into Rhino, which I definitely didn't expect. This is the final product with the lines. I would like to go back and add more sections to add more lines for shading. The bottom half the sheet needs some love. It is all experimental and I'm experimenting with lines as much as I can. I'm waiting for the solution to come to me. Which is what a good night sleep will do. Solves all my problems, usually.  One problem I ran into was the top part of the cone, I'm not able to apply any lines to it. I grafted it and tried to do it on it's own but it still didn't work. Very odd and strange.  February 13:UPDATE!!!!  Figured it out. The reason the one spot would not have a shade was because it was not closed. Which is...

Drawing on a 3D PRINTER

First issue was it was pronterface was not installed. We installed it! Success!!!! We really didn't have any problems apart from just getting the printer to connect to the software which was kind of annoying.  Once we got things working it was perfect. The buttons worked and everything. It was smooth sailing from there. I enjoyed watching the it work. I noticed there were a few things that were not very good. Some of the lines didn’t meet up at the end and I got really scared that the pen was going to rip through the paper.  The final product and I actually love it so much. Super cute and cool to watch. I’m interested in seeing what else I can do with this. I want to experiment with it drawing perspective drawings cause drawing by hand takes so much hand to complete final drawings. It’s very precise and specific.
